Hold on! Wait! *gasp for air* The Heart of AIO! Phew. There. I got to it before everyone else. Wait. . .Oh, no! Everyone else posted it! Anyway, there's a new fan site called The Heart of AIO. It also has a heartcast (get it? Heart podcast?) And it's quiet good.
Also, I improved my logo slightly. It looks a little more professional now, I think.
Audrey, from AIO Insanity!, said in a comment on Campbell County Connection,

"You're right, our little blogger community is getting pretty big! Let's see: AIO Insanity, Campbell County Connection, the AIO fan's life, the Odyssey Way, The Voice of Odyssey and now the Heart of Odyssey! We need a nickname for the not-so-little community! It takes forever to list them all out!"

I agree about the name thing. Do you have any suggestions? Say them in the comments! Hmmm. . .

Announced already on many fan blogs, as Bart Rathbone would say, "You've heard it on TV, you've seen it on the radio. . ." Album 52: Cause and Effect. The cover that we've seen floating around is not the real one. The real one is a picture of 3 main characters in a clock-tower trying to stop something from happening. But for specifics, that's a "Duff cant see ace" (or a 31899). There will be one Christmas episode and one Thanksgiving episode. What? Thanksgiving? We haven't had one of those since "In All Things Give Thanks". Anyway, you can see the rest of the info about other things coming up at AIO Insanity!, The Unofficial Podcast Blog, AIO Wiki, and The Odyssey Scoop.

"Grandma's Visit" is now on the Internet. You can listen to it here.

The Parker family is in for a bumpy ride. It all starts when their grandmother (or
Abuelita) comes to tell them that their Aunt Rosalita has decide to elope...next week...in Odyssey...at their house! Then relative after relative arrives to stay with the family. Where will the chaos end?

Now to the review:

I liked this episode. I liked the "story-teller mode" that it was in. I thought it was strange how the kids were acting like they were done at the beginning. Then it turns out. . . .the wedding hadn't happened! Grandma says that Aunt Roselita drove the men crazy, but also says that Eva looks the same. I give it 5/5. Good episode.

Hey guys, there's a new Official Podcast out where they announce the grand-prize winner of "The Act Like Odyssey" Contest. Also in the podcast, Jesse said he asked what the title of the new album is, and they gave him a secret message. I think the message means                         . Hey Brock, how did you get in my house? Where did you get that black high-lighter? National security? The FBI? Guys, I gotta go.

Adventures in Odyssey now has a Facebook page! There might be some behind the scenes things later on. Also, the most want-to-know question answer is here.
Watch this video. Tell me what you think in the comments.
Some may find this interesting or funny, but if you go here, you'll see a page for #68. What? Album #68 "Wow, Connie, you still haven't aged?". Just kidding. But I don't know what it's for. The 68th episode was "Choices". I don't know if that has anything to do with anything. I wonder what it is.

Hi, guys. You can listen to "When You're Right, You're Right" here.

Emily Jones is usually right about everything from solving mysteries to cooking chili. But when she decides to try her hand at matchmaking for her brother Barrett, the singing card she creates may have disastrous consequences. Will Emily have to face a situation where she could be...wrong?

Now for the review.

When You're Right, You're Right

I thought this was a very good episode. I don't know why, but it seems that Emily isn't the girliest girl, but she has a very, very girly voice. I don't see why that would be. When I heard Barrett's happy birthday song the first time, I literally cringed. Good writing, entertaining, I see no reason why I shouldn't give it a 5/5 arrows (The Odyssey Way's rating system. Get it? Way? Arrow? Showing the Way? Aw, just forget it).

In case some of you are confused, the page buttons are now pictures. You can read what they are on the picture. I don't know what I'd do without the AIO Wiki. Tell me what you think in the comments.

Apr 14, 2010

Hi everybody, on Brock Eastman's blog, he said this about the actor who plays Coach Fang: ". . .I got to sit in on my very first recording session. While done from Focus on the Family offices in Colorado Springs, Nathan Hoobler directed Matt Yang King who plays Coach Fang in an upcoming episode for album #52 called ##########. The episode discusses ############# and focuses on The Odyssey ###### ###### ########## ####. We get to see #### ######## again. You may remember him as the ##### of ########." You can read the rest here. Since Brock Eastman probably was dropping some hints (when does he not?), he said "in an upcoming episode for album #52 called ##########." The name of an episode from Album #52 will most likely be one word and have 10 letters. What has ten letters and is one word? "Clock-tower"!

Intern James finally found out the truth! You can listen to the episode here. After listening to it, go here. Check it out. I thought it was a good surprise. Finally Jacob Islam is done with surprises. Also Ethan and Phil were illustrated.
Anyway, the AIO Blog has been mentioned on the Official blog! See it here.
Also check out the AIO Wiki Odyssey Way page! It's a stub, but it is still cool.

Apr 10, 2010

*Sigh*. . . no squirrels. Don't know what I'm talking about? Then go to The Odyssey Scoop's newest post. They have revealed a surprise worth the wait!
Anyway, on The Ceiling Fan, Intern James finds out a "launch date" of some kind from an unexpected source. . . Jacob Islam himself!
Also, "For the Birds" is now up and on radios across the world. You can listen to it here and find out why Eugene would shave his head! You can read my review on the Reviews page later.

Apr 9, 2010

On the Whit's End website, they have posted the top 10 "Act Like Odyssey" video entries. You can vote on your favorite.
On the Odyssey Scoop, Jacob gave another clue. There was a picture of a microphone, and he said "By the way, what do page 561 of The Official Guide and page 35 of the original guide have in common? This might be a step in the right direction." On The Odyssey Owl, OdysseyBlogger said that he looked at the two pages and they both have microphones on them. I think it has something to do with either the Audio section, or. . . The Ceiling Fan Podcast.
Intern James is still trying to read Jacob's super-duper-top-secret-not-gonna-tell-anybody secret e-mail. They might be connected.

Apr 8, 2010

The Odyssey Scoop is giving more and more clues to the big surprise. You can read one of them here. Somebody named "Dan S." in the comments said, since on the post Jacob put a picture of a squirrel from the cover of "On Earth As It Is In Heaven", that Jacob is maybe making a version of the Scoop. . . for rodents! Then Jacob responded with "I think you just hit the nail on  the proverbial head." Wait a second, if there is going to be a Scoop for rodents, why not an Odyssey Way for rodents! Go to Odyssey Squirrel to see my project!

Apr 6, 2010

Hey guys (and girls), sorry I haven't posted lately. It's hard to think of things to write about, (well, unless your Audrey from AIO Insanity.)
These are some facts found on the AIO Wiki about Album 52:

  • Four episodes for this album were recorded in December of 2009
  • The name of the album is expected to be something including the words Time and Clock
  • It was announced that the AIO team is working on more Kidsboro episodes for the spring 2010 season. These episodes did not appear in album 51, so it can be assumed that at least two episodes in album 52 will involve Kidsboro.
  • At least 2 episodes were recorded the week of 3/29/10
  • A Christmas episode will be included for album 52
  • There will be a two part episode included in album 52

It sounds good to me.
Also, on AIO Wiki, if you look at the page for Odyssey, you'll see an image. That image. . .is a clock tower! That's it to the top-right. Maybe someone has connections. . .
Also on the Ceiling Fan, Intern James has hacked the blog. He's trying to read Ethan's e-mails. It has something to do with Jacob Isom.                      Also Jacob has another secret. Maybe Jacob's an agent, too.

Edit: The page "Polls and Quotes" has been changed to "Fun Stuff".

"Target of the Week" is now on the radio. You can listen to it here. Now my review:

Target of the Week

I like this episode. I liked the comedy. Vance King seemed more of an evil character than Rodney. You may not have heard, but this is the first episode to have Jay Smouse in it. You'll hear more of him in "When You're Right, You're Right." Wooton was great. Too bad this is the last show done by Marshall Younger. But it was good. Overall I give it 5/5 stars.

Since tomorrow is Easter Sunday, I thought you would like to see this Odyssey theme eggs. Hope you enjoyed "Target of the Week" and hope you have a great Easter!

Apr 2, 2010

In the April issue of Clubhouse Magazine, there is an Odyssey poster done by artist Gary Locke. That is it to the right. It is a take off of the band the Beatles album "Abbey Road". Abbey Road is actually the name of a road in London. If you look close to the top-right of this picture, you see a clock tower. Which has something to do with Album 52. In London, there is a famous clock tower called Big Ben. Supposedly, Album 52 will be in London. And it will involve Big Ben. Curiously enough, Wooton is on the art. And it just happens that a town that Wooton was named after Wootton Bassett is in England, too. Tell me what you think in the comments.
The Odyssey Scoop has announced their surprise! A special (with a cherry on top) interview with Jacob Isom.

There appears to be new excitement in Odyssey's residential areas with a town-wide yard sale. Meanwhile, Ethan Daniels interviews Jacob Isom, creator of The Odyssey Scoop fan site.

Be sure to go on over to The Ceiling Fan Podcast to listen to it.

Just in case you didn't click on the link, the post below was an April Fools joke. Andre is still Whit.
I'm sad to announce, that Andre Stojka has decided to retire. He says that his age may be a restriction to what Adventures in Odyssey might want him to do. This is a quote from him: "I'm sad to go, but I think Focus will be able to find a younger and better John Avery Whittaker. I enjoyed doing Album 51, but I feel I must go." Album 52 will be postponed until they can find a new Whit. He announced this in a podcast you can listen to
here. <-Click link
