This is my review of "Cause and Effect":

Not that I disliked Album 51 "Take It From the Top", but I think this album is a bit of a step up. This album started on a rocky beginning, with episodes such as "The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 1 and 2".  A little later the album there were amazing episodes like "Square One" that felt like an original Odyssey episode. This album has a little bit of an old Odyssey feel, yet is still going on with the whole album 51 feel with the new characters, new Whit, and new style. Overall, if you're a hard-core Odyssey fan, I would pick this album up as soon as you can. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.

Here is my review for "The Owlnapping" and "Square One":

Here is my star review of "Opposite Day":

Opposite Day

You may think I was so hungry that I ate half of that star, but no. I think the episode was that bad.
The Album "Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes" got a repack. It isn't much like the fake one that I made, but the art and frame are similar. You can see it here.
     Anyway, happy Fall!

Nov 6, 2010

Sorry I've been so late with my reviews. I'm only going to give star reviews from now on because I think that wordy reviews take to long, and they take the fun out of just enjoying an episode. Today, the episode "Opposite Day" is airing. You can listen to it here. Here are my star reviews for the last 2 new episodes:

There is a new OAIOP out.
This is my review of "Wooton's Broken Pencil Show" (sorry it's late, I've been busy lately):

Wooton's Broken Pencil Show
Okay, first of all this episodes moral was a little blurry for me. So there was no point to a show about entertainment having a point? So would that mean that we shouldn't listen to this episode because it's. . . pointless? It's confusing to me.
I heard this episode was going to be the funniest episode ever! I didn't laugh very much. The best part was when Thug Clockripper said, "He was like that when I found him.", referring to the Round House's brainlessness.
Also, it might just be wishful thinking (it probably actually is), but was the squirrel thing with Harlow a reference to Odyssey Squirrel
Overall, I give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Fake Scene:
Sorry, there is no fake scene for this episode. I didn't see a purpose to make one for this pointless (get it?) episode.

On Whitsend.org, they are asking for endorsements for the "Passages" book series. And in the background of a picture with Marianne Hering, their is a sketch of Album 53's cover. I did some filters on this, which makes it look clear (that's it to the right, click to enlarge). From all of the speculation, I think that it's Whit, Matthew, and Eugene, in Gower's Field (which has a ferris wheel in the background), looking at a suitcase full of money referenced in the summary.
Okay, that's all for now. Bye.

This is my review of "The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 2":

The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 2

This episode was not what I hoped for as a conclusion to the much anticipated "clocktower episode", as we've come to call it. It was boring, and the acting by Andrew Drevil (was he played by Fabio Stephens, who played Curt Stevens?) was pretty bad. Especially the "No, it can't be!" line. Overall, I give it a disappointing 2 stars.

Fake Scene:
This brainstorming session. . .seems so. . .familiar?

If this episode disapointed you, don't worry. I recently got my copy of "Cause and Effect", and the next episode is very good.

Oct 6, 2010

From now on, I'll see if I can make a fake scene that relates to the new Odyssey show and make it like a deleted scene in the episode that we didn't hear. First, I made one for "The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 1":

Eugene, Matthew, and Alicia are running up the stairs in the clock tower, when. . . .

Oct 5, 2010

First of all, you can now download Adventures in Odysseys right off of CBD. I don't see the difference between this and iTunes (besides that you can now purchase the MP3s of "Cause and Effect" on CBD and not off iTunes). But still, to buy MP3s of "Cause and Effect" and other Odyssey albums, go here. And you can hear short previews of the upcoming episodes in Album 52!
Also, in an insert for Album 52, they give the summary of Album 53: "The Green Ring Conspiracy". Here it is:

First, a backpack filled with money is found in Gower's Field; then, a mysterious man survives a nearby plane crash; and an underworld errand boy has possession of a special cell phone. This new adventure puts your kids' favorite Odyssey characters at the center of intrigue, suspense, and a scheme of international proportions!

That's all for now! See yah. . .sometime. . .not tomorrow. . .yah. . .

Oct 3, 2010

Album 52 is now available for purchase and the first episode has aired on the radio all around the world (okay, maybe not all around the world). Here is my review of the episode (be sure to listen to the episode first before reading my review, because I may include some spoilers):

The Mystery of the Clocktower, Part 1

Okay, this episode was pretty good. The only problem was how upset Alicia was about finding the wedding veil. It was uncomfortable to listen to her breathing heavy and freaking out. She was acting like some really bad thing came back from her past (like "Buried Sin").
But other than that, this episode really intrigued me. The mystery was very intriguing and awesome. Overall, I give it 4 stars.

Fake final cover for Album 5
Hi, sorry it's been so long since I last posted, but I've been busy with school (and my birthday last Saturday!).
So, first of all The Whit's End Podcast and The AIO Blogcast both have new episodes.
Also, there's a new Odyssey blog called The Odyssey Tattler. It has only 4 posts, but it looks like with a few more posts, we'll have a better perspective of the blog.
Based on the new art, and the preview of of the album's final art, I made a fake final cover for "Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes".
NOTE: This cover is TOTALLY FAKE.
     That's all for now. Bye!
