Sending in a video to the "Act Like Odyssey" Contest ends tomorrow.
Also, a new video page will be launched on the Official Site soon.
Tomorrow the AIO Blog will be announcing a surprise! I have no idea what it is, but it's probably. . . surprise-y.
Speaking of surprises (why are there so many?), the Odyssey Scoop also has a surprise-y surprise. Again, I have no idea what it is (maybe I should get out more).
Also the Odyssey team is recording new episodes for Album 52: "Time to Clock In" (again, not really).                                                  "Sorry I'm late, Whit!"

"Game For A Mystery" is now online. You can listen to it here. Now my review:

Game For A Mystery

I liked the mystery aspect of it. Though I don't think anyone would be able to figure out the mystery like Emily Jones (or, as a matter of fact, Colombo was still at square one when the episode was finished). It was very confusing. I liked how they incorporated Nelson Swanson from the Kidsboro world into this episode. I also liked the comedy as well. Overall, it was a good episode. Tell me what you think in the comments.

There's a very new blog called The Voice Of Odyssey started by Christian A. If you're an online Odyssey fan, you know Christian A. He comments on everything. Which makes him a good person to do a fan site.
And the "Act Like Odyssey" contest is coming to a close! So hurry and get those entries in before it's too late!
Also, Harlow speaks! In the March and April issues of Clubhouse Magazine, Harlow is shown. For the first time Gary Locke, Odyssey artist, has drawn a picture of Harlow Doyle at last! I think he looks good. That's him to the right. Tell me what you think in the comments.

There's a new Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast up. You can listen to it here.

Christopher Maselli talks about crafting the Emily and Matthew mystery stories in Clubhouse Magazine. Bob and Jesse hear more fan calls in the “Your Chance to be on Adventures in Odyssey Contest.” Fans answer the question, “How does Connie inspire me?”

It was interesting to hear Christopher Maselli talk about mysteries. Speaking of mystery, this Saturday be sure to listen to "Game For A Mystery".

The Odyssey Scoop and a member on the Campbell County message board started a contest. 20 questions are hidden on the Odyssey Scoop, and 10 are hidden on Campbell County. You can read more here.
In other news, Brock Eastman, a secret CIA agent smuggling Odyssey facts that the public should know about, snapped a picture (which you can see here) behind Mike Harrigan's back. FreddyJay (of Campbell County Connection) and I agree that it's from "Passages" because you can see two moons.

"Clutter" is now on the radio. You can listen to it here. Here's my review:

This episode was pretty good. This is one of those "listen to 'em once, then the magic is away" kinds. I mean, it's kind of repetitive. Kids and Eva don't want to sell stuff, Dad wants them to sell their stuff. But I like Red. I think that he'll be a long-term character "like a sleeping hog in the sunshine!" But overall, it was a good episode. But it isn't the type of episode that I'll jump on "like a duck on a dune bug".

Since we're getting into the season, how about some Whit wallpaper? Click to enlarge the image. Right click on it and say "Use Image as Desktop" or "Save Image as Desktop". Then, there you go!

Wooton Bassett is delivering mail! I guess he had an accident involving "turtles and bananas" because he hasn't delivered some Album 51s! When Wooton hurries up, maybe you should order your copy of Album 51. Who knows, he might be delivering yours to your house!
Also on his breaks (pretty much all the time) he's been writing his "Random Ramblings". There's a new picture every month of Wooton. You can read the ramblings here.

Wow! Over 1030 people have gone to my blog! Thanks to everyone who comes. The Odyssey Scoop has a new logo.
That's it on the right.
Just received Album 51. "The Inspiration Station" doesn't even compare to the rest of the episodes. Album 51 is now shipping. Order yours here.
Also, a summary for Album 52 "The Revenge of Time-Clock Man!" (not really) is out.
Mysteries abound in Odyssey as Eugene tries to figure out why the Odyssey clock tower is counting down to a mysterious deadline and Emily Jones unmasks the phantom of the school play. Meanwhile, the crew at Whit's End tries fasting,—with hilarious results—and Wooton tries his hand at a radio show ... with no script! It sounds like a good season to me!

The second part of Album 51, "The Inspiration Station" is on the radio. Listen to it here. And this is the episode where clips sent to the Official podcast on how they're inspired by Connie were played. Audrey, from AIO Insanity, got her clip played! She said, "I can't think of anyone who doesn't like Connie." Now that's pretty cool.

The new backs and fronts of the first two "Passages" books are out. Also, it seems like Brock Eastman has been the center of news all around. He recently put this picture up on his blog. He says this:
"A great way to create buzz is to give some clues, so can any of you theorize about upcoming or current albums? Some will matter in 51, and some in 52, and maybe even 53. But I can’t tell you everything. So I’d hold onto this image for several albums… Let me know as you hear about and recognize the clues I have hidden. Oh and yes feel free to share the image." It feels like this is the most controversial album ever!

Mar 11, 2010

Brock Eastman, our friendly neighborhood marketing guy, just announced on his blog that his copy of Album 51 just came in the mail. He shows some pictures and tells about what's inside. Reading his post made me more excited to get my copy. Why don't you order one right now?

There's a new Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast!

Andre Stojka talks about his audition for Adventures in Odyssey and Katie Leigh talks about the process of finding a new Mr. Whittaker.

You can listen to it here. Don't forget about the "Act Like Odyssey Contest". The entries are due by March 31st.
There has been some new Odyssey album cover changes, but this one is only a draft. It isn't a finished album cover. Here it is.

This may be news worthy or not, but on the comments of one of the posts on the Odyssey Scoop, Brock D. Eastman, employee of Focus On the Family, posted a comment:

I don't know, but maybe Album 52 will be called "Time Clock" or "Clock Time" or "It's Time For a Clock". To the right is a picture of Mathew Parker checking his watch (this picture is not legitimate). And on Brock D. Eastman's personal blog, The Quest For Truth Books, he posted this:
"I would say I am experiencing a dream like state right now...

I am sitting her in Agia Sophia with Dave Arnold, Paul McCusker, Nathan Hoobler, Carol Rusk, Marshall Younger, and Kathy Buchanan. We are discussing the coming albums for 2011. This is such an awesome experience."

On another comment on the Odyssey Scoop he said this:
Brock E
Woot all new art for five albums in 1 year! Who can beat that. Nathan I spent alot of time discussing which episodes/scenes should be drawn. We sent it to Dave who narrowed it down and now we are awaiting sketches from Gary!

So that gives us an idea that they're working on something for Album 52 or Album 53 or Album 54. I guess they're always busy.

Mar 6, 2010

The first episode of Album 51: "Take It From the Top" is out! It's called "The Inspiration Station" part 1. You can listen to it here.

Mar 5, 2010

The ScoopYourself contest ended today. The grand prize winner won Album 51, and the one runner-up got Album 50. You can see all the entries here. And "The Inspiration Station" part 1 airs tomorrow!

There's more album releases coming out. There should be 5 albums, which are albums  23262934 and 52, coming out with new art from Gary Locke sometime this year. Also some others will be released like the ones you've already seen, same picture placed differently on a new type of frame. There's a rumor that three of albums 23, 26, 29, and 34 will be totally new covers while the other will feature a wedding picture that has been placed differently. Go here to learn more about the new releases. Tell me what you thought about this post or about this blog in general in the comments.
