First of all, because of the request of Mr. WhittaSquirrel in the comments, Odyssey Squirrel is making a comeback. I will be posting once or twice a week.
I've been making some stuff up about Album 52 lately, but if you want to see real facts in an organized fashion, go to my newest blog. It's called Album 52. It's an organized wiki of sorts about Album 52: Cause and Effect. Tell me what you think in the comments.
Also, the voting for the "Whitty Awards" (I'll have my revenge Nathan Hoobler!) is over.

There are a couple new titles for Cause and Effect: "A Thankstaking Story" (Thanksgiving) and "White Elephant Gift" (Christmas), but we don't have any summaries. How about making some up based on what we know (and some made-up stuff)?

The Clocktower episode:
There is a clocktower ticking down to an event. 3 main characters are in the clocktower.

Fast as I Can:
People at Whit's End start fasting. *It seems fine, until Whit becomes thinner and strong.

Stage Fright:
We meet a new theatre manager. Who he is, we don't know.

An Agreeable Nanny:
The Parkers get a new nanny. The nanny lets them do anything.

A Thankstaking Story:
Thanksgiving. Yep. Figure that one out.

White Elephant Gift:
*For Christmas Camilla Parker wants a white elephant. She gets one. . .hillarity ensues.

*That wasn't true.

Also, there is a new character blog out, The Agent's Blog. He calls himself Agent 3XQ, but denies he's Jared. He's out to reveal the truth!

Album 51 has ended and we're waiting for "Cause and Effect" to start. It's that time of year. . .Conspiracy Time! There is so many things we can make conspiracies about. . .how about the cover? The last thing we saw was very fuzzy and far away in a video podcast. I made this fake cover. In my opinion, this is what it looks like. *Bernard and Eugene are playing chess in the clocktower!

*Nothing said was true.

As some bloggers have already said, the new season is over and we have to think of things to talk about. Do you have any suggestions? If so, shout your ideas out by commenting. Like Agent Brock to the right.
Audrey, of AIO Insanity!, finally got to her 100th post and first ever podcast! You can listen to it here.
Also, Marvin D., of The AIO Fan's Life, posted an audio clip of his voice. All of these bloggers are putting out voice clips. There seems to be a trend. . .

May 19, 2010

So it appears there is a new thing on the Official Site. You can vote in the Whitty Awards on the Official Site, The Odyssey Scoop, or AIO Wiki. It's kinda similar to what I was doing with the Odyssey Awards. I'm not going to stand for this! Wait. . .Oh. There's 3 of them. . .and bigger than me. . .just forget it. But be sure to vote!
With the voting, there is a new Official Podcast including an interview with Mandisa.

    Listen:

Also, there is a new blog out! It's called the Ethan Daniel's Blog (genius name). Guess who does it? Well, check it out!

May 18, 2010

On the Official Site, you can now ask questions for a future Q & A with Dave Arnold and Paul McCusker. You can comment your questions here.
Also, there is another Odyssey fan blog out there done by, who else, Camilla Parker! It's called Odyssey Muchacha. As she says, the title is "Spanglish".
Audrey is 3 posts away from her 100th post! Be sure to vote in her poll about what type of podcast she should do to celebrate.
Be sure to vote in the Odyssey Awards. That's it!

The Ceiling Fan is doing "The Ceiling Fan Hijack" again.

They have some pretty awesome prizes! If you don't know what this is, it's a contest where you make a parody of The Ceiling Fan. I think I might enter. . . but you can see the details here.

May 15, 2010

There's a new page here. "Odyssey Awards" is a new poll page about the goods (and bads) of the season. Be sure to vote in it!
Also, I can't believe anyone didn't think of this yesterday! About Col. Terry Virts, they should re-name that Odyssey album "2010: A Space Odyssey".

May 14, 2010

In case you haven't checked every other blog and are only a devoted fan of my blog and don't read anyone else's blog, then here's some news. Phew! That was a mouth-full. Anyway, Odyssey went to space! Col. Terry Virts, a huge Odyssey fan, went to space bringing with him the album, "For God and Country". He was on a Focus broadcast, which you can listen to plus see a slide show, here. This is a picture made to welcome him home.
Also, it is not new, but I recently saw it on CBD's website, the "Adventures in Odyssey" tumbler. If you don't know what a tumbler is, it's a big cup with a top and a plastic straw. Also, there's a picture to the right. You can see/buy it here.

Hi everybody, remember when Brock Eastman said that with every new album re-pack there will be a Family Fun Panel? This is an excerpt from "AIO Insanity!":

". . .in the behind the scenes booklet that comes with your album, there will be a section with a family project. You can get online and there will be a video of a family doing this project. After your family completes the project, the parents would buy a button that says you completed the family fun thing."

Well, on the Official Site there is a new page. On that page there is a video of Brock and Diane Ingolia, who does guest relations at Focus, with a family making a Wod-Fam-Choc-Sod (World Famous Chocolate Soda). This is what the Family Fun Panel buttons are about, too. On CBD (Christian Book Distributers) website, there's a page for certain buttons, like this one for Heroes (which the project is based off the episode "Karen" and has you write a letter or make a card for someone in a hospital or nursing home). In fact, the repack of Heroes is now available and includes the panel, although you cannot purchase the button until around June 25.

"The Jubilee Singers, Part 1" is now on the little picture box with technology in it (I couldn't think of another way to say 'Internet'). You can listen to it here.

A talking portrait of Frederick Douglass tells Olivia Parker the story of the famous Jubilee Singers of Fisk University. In the story, school treasurer Mr. White tries to assemble a group of talented singers who can save the school from a financial crisis.

I will not be giving my review on the individual parts of "The Jubilee Singers", but I will be giving a review after all three parts have aired. The season is wrapping up nicely.

On the Official Site there is an interview with Zach Callison, voice of Matthew Parker.

Bob and Jesse interview Zach Callison on his role as Matthew Parker and hear about his work on “Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” Plus: hear the title of album 52!

What's funny is that a couple days ago, I was watching TV and saw Zach on "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" I can't believe he got most of those questions!
Also, there have been some news on Album 52:

  • The Parker get a new babysitter, assumed to be in the episode "An Agreeable Nanny."
  • Emily Jones solves a case.
  • Matthew Parker invents a new Imagination Station program.
  • There will be another episode titled "Fast As I Can", again assumed that it will be in the episode where the gang at Whit's End try fasting.
Also, be sure to keep in mind the Mother's Day contest. They're giving some pretty awesome prizes that I'm sure your mom would like!

May 5, 2010

Hi everybody, there has been a lot of Odyssey news lately.
First of all, the second Passages book, "Arin's Judgment" is now shipping in its new form!
Also, Brock Eastman, [no explanation needed], said in a video podcast that there is a new contest also involving a video camera. It's the "You Mom Is So Awesome" Contest (I made up the name), because of Mother's Day. You can see the podcast here.

"Finish What You. . ." is now on the radio--er, was for half-an-hour--and online. You can listen to it here. Now for my review:

/
This was a mildly good episode. Apparently they are introducing Red as a dumb handy-man because he thought that "cubit" was "cube". I liked the humor (actually there were only three jokes in it). I felt very uncomfortable when Olivia had a break-down. I think that Olivia sounds like a 14-year-old girl. What 11-year-old says, "I broke a nail!"? Overall it was okay. I'd give it a
